More pictures

Hey People!
I am here to present you with another of my 'amazing' (quoting M there) drawings.
I drew this from a pin that I got off of Pinterest, and frankly, I love it;)
Unfortunately, it is quite blurry...but I think it still looks relatively alright.

It is so hard for me to choose a single wallpaper to post, since there are so many, therefore I have decided to post more than just one:) I love my reasoning sometimes:)
I laughed soo hard when I saw this:)
For those of you who aren't percy Jackson fans (hi M) this is Leo (who is the son of hephestus: god of the forges/fire) and Hazel (daughter of Hades: god of the underworld/dead people)...and you should get who the big 'scary' dragon is..
This is soo pathetic, I don't even know what to say..
For these three, I really wanted to go with encouragement..I am kind of bad at that. Anyway, I hope these make you smile:)
So don't let them control you! Give them to Him!
   Bi, for now;)

Song

Hello,
This is a song I wrote last fall based on a rough time I went through and the answer I knew but didn't want to accept. I hope this will help other people to seek God in hard times and remember that He really cares even if no one else does. I think sometimes He takes away everyone else to make us turn to Him cause we need him whether we know it or not.
L.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
He Is There
Are you feeling like your running out of answers?
Like there’s no one there to wipe away you tears.
Do you wish that there was someone there who’d hold you?
And speak the truth through all your darkest fears
Do you feel like you’re all alone with the fears that no one knows?

Do you want someone to tell you that you’re wrong?

Chorus
Well He is there
He is with you

HE wants to be the one that you turn to when you’re lost
Oh, He is there and He wants you.
When all you want is someone else, He’s all you need.
When you feel like you’re all alone, He can satisfy your soul.
He calls Himself “I am”
Are you feeling like the lies inside might kill you,
And there is no one there to save you from your fears?
Do you wish that there was someone there to tell you, “You don’t have to be afraid. I am right here.”?

Well He is there
He is with you
He wants to be the One that you turn to when you’re lost
Oh, He is there and He wants you
When all you want is someone else, He’s all you need.
When you feel like you’re all alone he can satisfy your soul.
He calls Himself “I am”

Creative Writing Prompt #15: Part 1: Putting on The Mask

Hey Everyone,
L. Here with my first real post. This is more of a Pin/other blog inspired post then a creative writing prompt but I think you'll like it anyway  I'll tell you about my inspiration once I finish the story. Thanks for voting on my poll by the way. In case you hadn't noticed I  really like hearing from you guys.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I took a deep breath and let it go. I held a smooth rubbery mask in my hands. It matched my skin color perfectly but had no blemishes and seemed just a bit brighter then my own skin. I had worn masks before and knew that others did the same but this one was different. I wanted everyone (even my closest friends and family) to think it was my real face. I had spread on a special glue and now I pressed the carefully fashioned mask onto my face and smoothed out any bumps or wrinkles. I had made it myself, with much thought and care, trying to look like the people I admired or envied but had been careful to keep it from looking to much like any one of them. I wanted to be just unique enough to look real without feeling weird or out of place. The edges weren't quite perfect so I used my bangs to cover them up.
There. Perfect. I thought Now know one has to see my real face. Now maybe I'll be popular like the other girls.

And so the days went by, my mask stayed on and most people believed it and some even seemed to like me better now. It had worked! I know now that my close friends missed the real me but they thought I had changed and never guessed that I was hiding.
I still wore my old masks sometimes. White for Church just like everyone else seemed to be wearing and red or pink for big parties depending on who would be there and sometimes a special mask for certain occasions but the new mask never left my face.
For a while I felt safe behind my mask but it soon became a burden. I could never show someone my true face without tearing the mask off and I knew that it would hurt and it might take too long to fix  and put back. I would have to admit that I had hidden from them before and what if I wanted to hide my face from them later? They would know all about my mask.

Sorry to end on such a sad note. Read Part 2 here.

Life and Stuff (and Things, too)

Hi, friends! M. here to share about my simplex life the past few weeks, since I haven't posted in ALMOST forever and have absolutely no creativity in me to do a CWP now. :)

Anyway, here's the important things that have happened recently: (or will be happening in my life soon)

  • Last Sunday, I had my last day of my AWANA club and received their Citation award. To achieve it, I spent 10 years in the program. I went to weekly club meetings, memorized around 800 verses, and had to read through the entire Bible. So that was pretty cool!! Also, E. and L. completed their books for this year, and I'm so glad they came to AWANA with me.
  • I GOT AN A IN SPANISH!!!! I'm so relieved. Our final was nine pages long. And it wasn't an easy nine pages, either. (sigh)
  • Final for History/Humanities/Geography/EVERYTHING is next Thursday. Again, (sigh). But graduation is the next day!!!
  • After that, my life will be completely crazy. I'm interning with my AMAZING choir for their girls' summer camp! It's going to be a week-long intensive camp including dance, singing, and Bible study.
At the end of the week, we will have a concert.
And it will be epic.
And everyone's gonna cry. Jus' saying.
  • Then in June, I will be interning with Worldview academy for a Student Leadership camp!!  I've attended as a student for the past three years, but now I'm a staffer!! So I'm super excited. (happy dance)
Yep, that's what's happening right now. I really wish I was up to posting more often... but that's life!
Talk to you later! -M.

Creative Writing Prompt #14

Hello people of the earth! I welcome you in peace!(oh never mind)
Hi everybody, sorry about that:) I think I've been watching too much, 'Doctor Who', anyways, to the point! Or, technically, 'prompt':) oh don't I have such a great sense of humor?! Anyways...
This Creative Prompt, was really fun for me to write. It's basically one of my homework story's, from a class that I am in. I was told to describe a picture-that I was designated-like I would to a blind person, someone who couldn't see the picture. I thought it would be hard, but in the end, it was really easy! And surprisingly fun:) I hope you enjoy it!

          *        *        *        *        *
It is quiet. The sun is setting, peeping its last rays over distant mountains. There is still enough light to cast long shadows upon the soft, grassy earth.
There is a small part of a large forest-somewhere in the world-where the trees grow tall, in long straight lines. Their towering branches reach out to each other, forming a perfect arch. No one knows how they grew like that, perhaps an old farmer planted them, knowing that he would never live to see them bloom in spring. But he planted them anyway, knowing that his children, and grand children would.
Mysteriously, all the trees are perfectly groomed, and beneath the tall formed arch, are three small pine trees. They stood, lonely and forgotten. But they stood proudly, as if they were waiting to see a young child's face, light up with joy at the sight of them being hung with string popcorn, pretty lights, and glass ornaments, for Christmas Day.
Just above the small trees, are little designs trimmed out of the tree leaves, it is said that they grow in that way, to remember the farmer who planted them.

Ta-da! Please comment on how you liked it! And here is the picture that I had to describe:

Bi! (Typo?nope! It's a combination of 'hi' and 'bye'-bi! Crazy weird right?)
Anyway,:) bi! Until next time.
