Day 151: "You Have Not Obeyed"

Judges 6:10

Judges 6:10 ESV "And I said to you, 'I am the Lord your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.' But you have not obeyed my voice."

Who are you fearing this week? The fear of the Lord is a good thing, commanded by God, but the fear of idols or of man is destructive to your heart and your spirit. Put Jesus above the things of this world, let Him be the highest priority in your life. -M.

Day 104: "The Due Reward"

Luke 23:40-43

Luke 23:40-43 (ESV) "But the other rebuked him, saying, 'Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.' And he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' And he said to him, 'Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.'"

Happy Good Friday, friends! May we remember where we stand with the Lord if we are without Him - deserving the same condemnation as the thieves on the cross. And we too would receive that justly if not for the high cost Jesus was willing to pay.

Here's a video that I hope will encourage and remind you of the love of Jesus:

Day 79: "To Stand"

Luke 21:34-36

Luke 21:34-36 (ESV) “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Day 26: "Shall Not Be Empty"

1 Kings 17:13-16

1 Kings 17:15-16 ESV "And Elijah said to her, 'Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, "The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.”' And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by Elijah."
