Day 43: "Be Still, and Know"

Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

"'Be still, and know that I am God.
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth!'
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah"

When we realize who God is, we realize that we have nothing else to fear when we take refuge in Him. Take time to read this chapter or another about who God is, and ask Him to help you see the size of whatever you fear in relation to the God who created and sustains all things and loves you like crazy. Ask Him to be your fortress! "none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned".

Once you've been reminded (or read for the first time) of who God is, take time to be still and know that He is God. He will be exalted, HE is with you and He is your safety. Rest in that.

Day 41: "Who Goes Before You"

Deuteronomy 1:28-31

Deuteronomy 1:28-31 (ESV) "Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our hearts melt, saying, 'The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to heaven. And besides, we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.' Then I said to you, ‘Do not be in dread or afraid of them. The Lord your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the Lord your God carried you as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.'"

Fear not, you worm Jacob,

Day 39: "They Will Soon Fade"

Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
